OK, I look forward to trying anything they care to brew. I hope to try the Old Sour Cherry Porter, the Pear Lambic and the Sour Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin ale. You pick a style that is difficult to find, or a flavor combination no one has tried, and you brew it yourself. That is the big attraction of home brewing, of course. My introduction to Flanders red ale came via a Mansfield home brewer. It starts out sweet and malty, and finishes tart and sour.Soulless is 5.4 percent alcohol by volume, and 20 International Bitterness Units.Rivertown Brewing Company of Lockland, Ohio, produces a wide variety of unusual and intriguing beers.Soulless is a scarlet sour ale, inspired by the Flanders red style from Belgium.
